Contraindications:

In order of decreasing probability: Common: Dizziness, headache, constipation, somnolence, hypertension, Uncommon: Fatigue, fungal infections, confusion, hallucinations, vomiting, Rare: Seizures, pancreatitis, hepatitis, psychotic reactions
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended starting dose is 5 mg once daily, which should be increased in 5 mg increments to a maintenance dose of 20 mg per day. The dose should be increased in intervals of at least one week. Akatinol Memantine can be taken with or without food.
