- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Duodenal ulcers

- Erosive esophagitis
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
- Helicobacter pylori eradication (in combination with antibiotics)
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any other components of the drug
- Severe liver impairment
- Pregnancy and lactation unless clearly needed
- Concomitant use with nelfinavir
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Headache, Nausea, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Constipation, Flatulence, Dizziness, Rash
Dosing and Administration:
