Pharmachologic effect:

Side effects:


In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Photosensitivity, Esophagitis, Allergic reactions, Hepatotoxicity, Intracranial hypertension

Dosing and Administration:


The usual adult dose is 100 mg twice daily on the first day, followed by 100 mg once daily. The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the infection. It is recommended to take the tablets with a full glass of water and to avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes after taking the medication.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F).
