Contraindications:

In order of decreasing probability: Rare: Allergic reactions such as skin rash, Rare: Blood disorders such as thrombocytopenia and leukopenia, Very rare: Hepatic dysfunction, Very rare: Anaphylactic reactions
Dosing and Administration:
Adults and children over 12 years: 500 mg to 1000 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not to exceed 4000 mg in 24 hours. Children 6 to 12 years: 250 mg to 500 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not to exceed 2000 mg in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.
