Ksefokam Rapid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins through the blockade of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes.Indications:
- Short-term treatment of acute pain
- Symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to lornoxicam or any of the excipients
- Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Third trimester of pregnancy
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Dyspepsia, Abdominal pain, Diarrhea, Headache, Dizziness, Rash, Edema, Hypertension, Gastrointestinal bleeding
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended dose for adults is 8-16 mg per day, divided into 2-3 doses. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 16 mg. Tablets should be taken with water, preferably before meals.
