Allegra, containing the active ingredient Fexofenadine, is a non-drowsy antihistamine tablet designed to provide fast and effective relief from symptoms of seasonal allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes. Pharmachologic effect:

Allegra is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body, which can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

Indications:


  • Seasonal allergic rhinitis
  • Chronic idiopathic urticaria

Contraindications:


  • Hypersensitivity to fexofenadine or any component of the formulation
  • Severe renal impairment

Side effects:


In order of decreasing probability: Headache, Drowsiness, Nausea, Dizziness, Fatigue

Dosing and Administration:


For adults and children 12 years and older, the recommended dose is 60 mg twice daily or 180 mg once daily with water. It is advisable to take Allegra before a meal.

Storage:


Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F).
