Contraindications:

Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Headache, Taste perversion, Liver enzyme elevation, Rash, Dizziness
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended dose for adults is 500 mg once daily. In severe infections, the dose may be increased to 1000 mg once daily. The duration of treatment is usually 7 to 14 days, depending on the type and severity of the infection.
