Indications:

Cough suppression during diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy

Contraindications:

In order of decreasing probability: Dizziness, Nausea, Diarrhea, Rash, Allergic reactions

Dosing and Administration:

Adults are recommended to take 50 mg every 8-12 hours. For children over 12 years, the recommended dose is 25 mg every 8-12 hours. The tablets should be swallowed whole, with or without food.
