Contraindications:

Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Very common: Headache, dizziness, ataxia, somnolence., Common: Nausea, vomiting, rash, blurred vision, diplopia., Uncommon: Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis., Rare: Aseptic meningitis, blood dyscrasias.
Dosing and Administration:
The initial dose for adults with epilepsy is typically 25 mg once daily for 1-2 weeks, followed by gradual titration based on clinical response. For bipolar disorder, the initial dose is usually 25 mg once daily for 2 weeks, with subsequent titration.
