Griseofulvin

Griseofulvin is a potent antifungal medication primarily used to treat a range of fungal infections affecting the skin, hair, and nails. Available in tablet form, it works by inhibiting the growth of fungi, effectively arresting their proliferation. It is particularly beneficial for conditions like ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. Patients are recommended to take Griseofulvin with a fatty meal to enhance absorption.
