Analgin is a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic with anti-inflammatory properties. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain and inflammation, thereby reducing pain and fever.Indications:
- Mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, muscle pain)
- Fever reduction in febrile conditions
- Pain relief in conditions such as neuralgia and myalgia
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to metamizole sodium or other pyrazolones
- Agranulocytosis or bone marrow suppression
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- Acute intermittent porphyria
- Pregnancy and lactation

Dosing and Administration:
Adults and children over 15 years: 250-500 mg 2-3 times a day. Maximum single dose is 1 g, and maximum daily dose is 3 g. Tablets should be taken with water, preferably after meals.
