Arbidol Maximum is an antiviral medication that inhibits the fusion of the lipid membrane of the virus with cell membranes, thereby preventing the entry of the virus into the cell. It enhances the body's immune response and provides a protective effect against viral infections.Indications:
- Treatment and prevention of influenza A and B
- Treatment and prevention of other acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI)
- Complex therapy of chronic bronchitis
- Complex therapy of recurrent herpes infection
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to umifenovir or any of the excipients
- Children under 12 years of age
- Pregnancy and lactation (due to insufficient data)

In order of decreasing probability: Rare: Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, urticaria, Very rare: Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain
Dosing and Administration:
For adults and children over 12 years: 200 mg (1 capsule) 4 times a day for 5 days. For prevention, 200 mg (1 capsule) twice a week for 3 weeks.
