- Treatment of systemic mycoses
- Onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes and/or yeasts
- Vulvovaginal candidiasis
- Pityriasis versicolor
- Dermatomycosis
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to itraconazole or any of the excipients
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Concomitant use with certain medications such as terfenadine, astemizole, and cisapride
- Patients with ventricular dysfunction or a history of heart failure
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Common: Nausea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, Uncommon: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, Rare: Hepatotoxicity, severe allergic reactions, peripheral neuropathy
Dosing and Administration:
