Pharmachologic effect:

Triazavirin is an antiviral medication that inhibits the replication of RNA viruses, thereby reducing viral load and aiding in the treatment of viral infections.

Indications:


  • Treatment of influenza
  • Treatment of other acute respiratory viral infections

Contraindications:


  • Hypersensitivity to Triazavirin or any of its components
  • Severe liver or kidney impairment
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Children under 18 years of age

Side effects:


In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Headache, Dizziness, Allergic reactions, Gastrointestinal disturbances

Dosing and Administration:


The recommended dose for adults is 250 mg (one capsule) taken orally three times a day for 5 days. It is advisable to start treatment as early as possible after the onset of symptoms.

Storage:


Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F).
