Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to sertraline or any of the excipients
- Concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)
- Concurrent use with pimozide
- Severe liver impairment

Dosing and Administration:
The recommended starting dose for adults is 50 mg once daily. Depending on the patient's response, the dose may be increased in increments of 50 mg at intervals of at least one week, up to a maximum of 200 mg per day. The tablets should be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
