Aspirin Cardio is an antiplatelet agent that inhibits platelet aggregation, thereby reducing the risk of thrombus formation. It works by irreversibly inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase, which results in decreased formation of prostaglandins and thromboxanes.Indications:
- Prevention of myocardial infarction
- Prevention of stroke
- Prevention of thromboembolic complications after surgical interventions on the heart and blood vessels

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs
- Active peptic ulcer disease
- Hemorrhagic diathesis
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment
- Asthma induced by salicylates
- Pregnancy (especially third trimester)
- Breastfeeding
Side effects:
