Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Constipation, Diarrhea, Darkening of the stool, Allergic reactions

The recommended dose is 120 mg to 240 mg taken orally four times a day, 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime. The duration of treatment is usually 4 to 8 weeks. For Helicobacter pylori eradication, it should be used in combination with other antibiotics as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
