Crestor
Crestor is a pharmaceutical medication containing Rosuvastatin, a potent statin used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood. It works by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver, thus reducing the amount of cholesterol that can accumulate on the arterial walls. This medication is commonly prescribed to individuals with high cholesterol and those at risk of cardiovascular disease. Crestor helps in improving overall heart health by managing lipid levels effectively. It is usually taken once a day, with or without food.
