- Prevention of myocardial infarction
- Prevention of stroke

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or any other components of the drug
- Active peptic ulcer disease
- Hemorrhagic diathesis
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment
- Asthma induced by salicylates
- Children and adolescents under 16 years of age
