Indications:


  • Hypertension

Contraindications:


  • Severe aortic stenosis
  • Unstable angina
  • Cardiogenic shock

In order of decreasing probability: Headache, Dizziness, Flushing, Peripheral edema, Nausea, Fatigue, Palpitations, Hypotension, Rash

Dosing and Administration:


The recommended starting dose is 20 mg twice daily. Depending on the patient's response, the dose may be adjusted. Maximum dose should not exceed 40 mg twice daily.
