Verapamil

Verapamil is a calcium channel blocker used primarily in the treatment of hypertension and angina. It works by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily, thereby reducing high blood pressure. This action helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Verapamil tablets are also effective in managing certain types of irregular heartbeats by restoring a normal heart rhythm. It is typically taken orally with or without food, and dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
