Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Common: Dizziness, headache, constipation, hypertension, Uncommon: Fatigue, somnolence, elevated liver function tests, Rare: Seizures, pancreatitis, psychotic reactions
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended starting dose is 5 mg once daily, which should be increased in increments of 5 mg per week to a maximum dose of 20 mg per day. The usual maintenance dose is 10 mg twice daily. The tablets should be taken with water, with or without food.
