Doxazosin

Doxazosin

Doxazosin tablets are primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and improve symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). As an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker, Doxazosin relaxes blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and reducing the heart's workload. It can also enhance urinary flow by relaxing muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. This makes it a dual-purpose medication beneficial for cardiovascular and urinary health. By maintaining regular use, patients may experience significant improvements in blood pressure levels and urinary symptoms. Doxazosin is available in various dosages to cater to individual treatment needs.
