Espiro

Espiro

Espiro is a medication containing Eplerenone, which is primarily used to manage heart failure and hypertension. It acts as a selective aldosterone blocker, helping to reduce the strain on the heart by promoting the excretion of excess sodium and water. This process aids in lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart complications. Espiro is typically prescribed for patients with chronic heart failure to improve survival and reduce hospitalization. It may also be used in combination with other medications for optimal cardiovascular health. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended during treatment.
