- Peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum
- Chronic gastritis and gastroduodenitis
- Functional dyspepsia not associated with organic gastrointestinal diseases
- Helicobacter pylori infection as part of combination therapy
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to bismuth compounds or any component of the drug
- Severe renal impairment
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Children under 4 years of age
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Common: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, Uncommon: Diarrhea, blackened stool, Rare: Allergic reactions, including rash and itching, Very rare: Encephalopathy with prolonged use in high doses
Dosing and Administration:
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 4 times a day (30 minutes before meals and at bedtime) or 2 tablets 2 times a day (30 minutes before meals). Children 8-12 years: 1 tablet 2 times a day (30 minutes before meals). Children 4-8 years: 8 mg/kg/day in 2 divided doses. The course of treatment is 4-8 weeks. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
