The drug works by inhibiting the activity of bacterial enzymes, thereby preventing the synthesis of proteins necessary for bacterial growth and replication.Indications:
- Acute diarrhea of bacterial origin without signs of systemic infection
- Chronic diarrhea of bacterial origin
- Diarrhea associated with food poisoning
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to nifuroxazide or any of the excipients
- Children under 3 years of age
- Pregnancy and lactation

In order of decreasing probability: Rare: Allergic reactions such as rash, urticaria, Very rare: Anaphylactic shock
Dosing and Administration:
For adults and children over 7 years: 200 mg (1 capsule) 4 times a day at regular intervals. For children aged 3 to 7 years: 200 mg (1 capsule) 3 times a day at regular intervals. The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
