Famotidine
Famotidine is a medication used to treat and prevent ulcers in the stomach and intestines. It is effective in managing conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) by decreasing the amount of acid the stomach produces, thereby alleviating symptoms like heartburn and difficulty swallowing. Famotidine tablets can also aid in the treatment of conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. The medication is typically taken once or twice a day, depending on the condition being treated. Famotidine is generally well-tolerated and can be an integral part of managing gastrointestinal conditions.Active substance:
