Urdoksa is a hepatoprotective agent that helps to dissolve cholesterol gallstones, reduce cholesterol absorption, and protect liver cells from damage.Indications:
- Dissolution of cholesterol gallstones
- Biliary reflux gastritis
- Primary biliary cirrhosis
Contraindications:
- Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or bile ducts
- Obstruction of the biliary tract
- Frequent episodes of biliary colic
- Radiopaque calcified gallstones
- Impaired contractility of the gallbladder
- Hypersensitivity to ursodeoxycholic acid or any component of the formulation
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Allergic reactions, Calcification of gallstones
Dosing and Administration:
