- Hypertension

Contraindications:
- Severe bradycardia
- Cardiogenic shock
- Second or third-degree AV block
- Severe heart failure
- Hypersensitivity to betaxolol or any of the excipients
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Dizziness, Bradycardia, Fatigue, Hypotension, Nausea, Cold extremities, Sleep disturbances
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended starting dose is 10 mg once daily. Depending on the patient's response, the dose may be increased to 20 mg once daily. It is advised to take the medication at the same time each day, with or without food.
