- Hypertension
- Diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to irbesartan or any of the excipients
- Pregnancy
- Severe hepatic impairment

In order of decreasing probability: Dizziness, Fatigue, Nausea, Hyperkalemia, Hypotension, Renal impairment
Dosing and Administration:
The usual recommended starting dose is 150 mg once daily. The dose may be increased to 300 mg once daily based on patient response. Irbesartan can be taken with or without food.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C (86°F).
