Lericor is a calcium channel blocker that selectively inhibits the influx of calcium ions into cardiac and smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation and a reduction in blood pressure.Indications:
- Hypertension

Contraindications:
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Unstable angina
- Recent myocardial infarction
- Hypersensitivity to lercanidipine or any of the excipients
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Headache, Dizziness, Flushing, Palpitations, Peripheral edema, Fatigue, Nausea
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended dose of Lericor is 10 mg once daily, taken at least 15 minutes before a meal. Depending on the patient's response, the dose may be increased to 20 mg once daily.
