- Bacterial infections caused by susceptible strains

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol or any component of the formulation

- Bone marrow depression
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Bone marrow suppression, Aplastic anemia, Allergic reactions, Headache, Blurred vision
