Concor Cor is a selective beta1-adrenergic receptor blocker that reduces heart rate, cardiac output, and blood pressure. It is used to manage hypertension and heart conditions by decreasing the workload on the heart and helping it to beat more regularly.Indications:
- Hypertension
- Chronic stable angina pectoris
- Chronic heart failure
Contraindications:
- Acute heart failure
- Cardiogenic shock
- Severe bradycardia
- Second or third-degree AV block
- Severe bronchial asthma
- Hypersensitivity to bisoprolol or any of the excipients
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Common: Fatigue, dizziness, headache, bradycardia, Uncommon: Sleep disturbances, depression, respiratory difficulties, Rare: Hepatic enzyme increase, muscle weakness, hearing impairment
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended starting dose is 5 mg once daily. Depending on the patient's response, the dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily. In some cases, the dose may be further increased to a maximum of 20 mg once daily. It is advised to take the tablet in the morning with or without food.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C (86°F).
