Allopurinol
Allopurinol tablets are primarily used to manage and prevent gout attacks by reducing uric acid levels in the blood. This medication works by inhibiting the enzyme xanthine oxidase, which is responsible for the production of uric acid. Suitable for patients with chronic gout, Allopurinol helps in preventing joint pain and inflammation associated with high uric acid levels. Regular use of Allopurinol can also prevent kidney stones that form as a result of excessive uric acid. It is important to maintain consistent use for effective results.
