- Chronic bronchitis
- Acute bronchitis
- Tracheobronchitis
- Bronchial asthma with difficulty in sputum expectoration
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to bromhexine or any of the excipients
- Peptic ulcer
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- Pregnancy (especially the first trimester) and lactation
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Rash, Dizziness, Headache
Dosing and Administration:
Adults and children over 12 years: 8-16 mg three times a day. Children 6-12 years: 8 mg three times a day. Children 2-6 years: 4 mg three times a day. The tablets should be taken with a sufficient amount of liquid.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F).
