In order of decreasing probability: Dizziness, Headache, Constipation, Hypertension, Somnolence, Confusion, Fatigue, Hallucinations, Vomiting, Balance disorders
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended starting dose is 5 mg once daily. The dose should be increased in increments of 5 mg per week to a maximum of 20 mg per day. The usual maintenance dose is 10 mg twice daily. Memantine can be taken with or without food.
