Contraindications:

Side effects:

In order of decreasing probability: Dizziness, Fatigue, Hypotension, Diarrhea, Hyperglycemia, Bradycardia, Weight gain, Visual disturbances, Dyspnea

Dosing and Administration:

The recommended starting dose for hypertension is 6.25 mg twice daily, which may be increased after 7-14 days to 12.5 mg twice daily.
