Contraindications:

Dosing and Administration:
The usual starting dose for hypertension is 10 mg once daily. The dose may be adjusted according to the patient's response, up to a maximum of 40 mg per day. For heart failure, the initial dose is 2.5 mg once daily, which may be increased to a maximum of 20 mg per day. Dosage adjustments may be necessary for patients with renal impairment.
