- Treatment of hyperprolactinemic disorders, either idiopathic or due to pituitary adenomas

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to cabergoline or any of the excipients
- History of fibrotic disorders
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- History of cardiac valvulopathy
- Severe hepatic impairment
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Headache, Dizziness, Fatigue, Constipation, Abdominal pain, Drowsiness, Depression, Hypotension, Palpitations
Dosing and Administration:
For the treatment of hyperprolactinemic disorders, the recommended starting dose is 0.25 mg twice a week. The dose may be increased by 0.25 mg twice weekly up to a maximum of 1 mg twice a week, depending on the patient's prolactin levels and clinical response. For Parkinson's disease, the dosage should be individualized and adjusted based on therapeutic response and tolerability.
