Indications:

Contraindications:

Side effects:


In order of decreasing probability: Nausea, Headache, Metallic taste, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Abdominal pain, Loss of appetite, Vomiting, Rash, Dark urine

Dosing and Administration:


The usual adult dose for anaerobic bacterial infections is 500 mg orally every 6 to 8 hours. For protozoal infections, the dosage and duration depend on the specific condition being treated. It is important to follow the prescribing doctor's instructions and complete the full course of treatment.
