- Treatment of influenza A in adults and children
- Prophylaxis of influenza A in adults and children
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to rimantadine or any component of the formulation
- Severe liver dysfunction

- Pregnancy

Dosing and Administration:

For children aged 1 to 9 years, the dosage is 5 mg/kg once daily, not exceeding 150 mg per day. Treatment should begin as soon as possible after the onset of influenza symptoms and continue for approximately 5 to 7 days.
