PODAGREL

PODAGREL

Podagrel capsules contain Febuxostat, which is primarily used for the management of gout by reducing uric acid levels in the blood. This medication helps prevent gout attacks by inhibiting the enzyme xanthine oxidase, thereby decreasing uric acid production. Podagrel is typically recommended for adults with chronic gout, particularly those who do not respond well to allopurinol. Taking the capsules as part of a regular treatment plan can effectively manage and reduce the frequency of painful gout flare-ups. It is important to maintain adequate hydration while on this medication to support kidney function. Podagrel should be taken consistently to achieve optimal results in controlling gout symptoms.
