- Treatment of life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias
- Prevention of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation/flutter

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to propafenone or any of the excipients
- Bradycardia
- Severe hypotension
- Cardiogenic shock
- Uncontrolled heart failure
- Severe obstructive pulmonary disease
- Myasthenia gravis
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Dizziness, Fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Metallic taste, Headache, Bradycardia, Hypotension, Visual disturbances
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended starting dose is 150 mg taken orally every 8 hours. The dose may be increased to 300 mg every 8 hours if necessary, based on patient response and tolerance. Dosage adjustments may be required for patients with hepatic impairment.
