Dosing and Administration:
For benign prostatic hyperplasia, the initial dose is 1 mg at bedtime, which may be gradually increased to a maintenance dose of 5 to 10 mg once daily. For hypertension, the initial dose is 1 mg at bedtime, with a maintenance dose ranging from 1 to 5 mg once daily, depending on the patient's response.
