Contraindications:

- Hepatic encephalopathy

Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Common: Hypokalemia, dizziness, fatigue, Uncommon: Rash, headache, nausea, Rare: Hypercalcemia, arrhythmia, hypotension
Dosing and Administration:
The recommended dose is one tablet (2.5 mg) taken orally once daily in the morning. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food.
