In order of decreasing probability: Headache, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Nausea, Constipation, Dizziness, Rash
Dosing and Administration:
The usual recommended dose for adults is 15-30 mg once daily before a meal. The duration of treatment varies depending on the condition being treated. For GERD and erosive esophagitis, treatment typically lasts 4-8 weeks. For duodenal ulcers, treatment is usually 4 weeks, and for gastric ulcers, it is typically 8 weeks. For Helicobacter pylori eradication, lansoprazole is used in combination with antibiotics for 10-14 days.
