Telmisartan

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used primarily to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). By relaxing blood vessels, it helps to reduce the workload on the heart, which can lower the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Telmisartan is also used to lower the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with a history of heart disease or type 2 diabetes. The medication is available in tablet form, ensuring ease of administration. Consistent use of Telmisartan can promote better heart health and improve quality of life. It is generally taken once daily, with or without food, and is known for its long-lasting effects.
