Pharmachologic effect:

Levofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone class. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes necessary for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination, leading to bacterial cell death.

Contraindications:
