- Onychomycosis (fungal infection of the nail) caused by dermatophyte fungi
- Tinea corporis (ringworm of the body)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea pedis (athlete's foot)
- Tinea capitis (scalp ringworm)
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or any of the excipients
- Chronic or active liver disease
- Severe renal impairment
Side effects:
In order of decreasing probability: Common: Headache, gastrointestinal disturbances (diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, abdominal pain), Uncommon: Taste disturbances, rash, musculoskeletal pain, Rare: Hepatic dysfunction, severe skin reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), Very rare: Anaphylactic reactions, blood disorders (neutropenia, thrombocytopenia)
Dosing and Administration:
