Zoloft is an antidepressant belonging to a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter in the brain that helps maintain mental balance.Indications:

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to sertraline or any of the excipients

Dosing and Administration:
The usual starting dose for adults with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder is 50 mg once daily. The dose may be increased in 50 mg increments at intervals of at least one week, up to a maximum of 200 mg per day. Zoloft should be taken either in the morning or evening, with or without food.
